On any computer keyboard is the most important part of one. Without it, you will not be able to access the computer’s many features, or do any work. Broken or damaged, if your Dell Inspiron 1720 1721 keyboard, it can open your Dell Inspiron keyboard and delete their own, without the help of technical service personnel. Close your Dell Inspiron 1720 and remove the AC power cord (if it is connected). Turn off your computer, open it and remove the car battery down Slide the battery release latch.

Insert your flat head screwdriver in the seam between the plastic guard and the computer next to the corner. Gently lift the back until it pops off the computer.

Lift the top of the Dell Inspiron 1720 1721 keyboard and touchpad it faces in the bottom of the computer. You will find that it is from inside the computer’s motherboard and is connected to the keyboard connector on the back of the middle of a thick ribbon.

Use your fingers to disconnect the ribbon from the back of the keyboard. The keyboard aside, the new ribbon is connected to the back of the keyboard (available from your retailer or online Dell), for units in the computer keyboard and plastic guard. Replace the battery and you’re done.
