A new picture, apparently of the iPad 3, has been sent to the Repair Labs blog, and seems to indicate the inclusion of a larger battery, along with more expected upgrades, like a better camera and a high-resolution LCD display.

Repair Labs was sent the picture by ‘industry insiders’ in China and says that the new design indicates the possible presence of a slimmer logic board, meaning that that the new tablet could have a larger, more powerful battery. The source also reckons that the design points to a better camera and a new LCD panel, which is not overly surprising given that half of the world seems to be aware of Apple’s plans to fit the next iPad with a 2048 x 1536 resolution panel.

This photo is, however, one of many doing the rounds, so there is no guarantee if it is the genuine iPad 3, or a fake model floating around Asia. 9to5Mac recently uncovered a similar photo, possibly showing the inside of the iPad 3’s casing, while Asian new website Apple.pro believes to be unearthed a shot of the back of the slate.
